Meadow Fork Store

and Campground

Welcome

This family owned business began when the original store was opened, in 1959, by W.T. (Bill) Moore. Grandson Billy Moore and his wife, Anh Moore, have owned and operated the store since 1980. Later, the campground was opened in 1994. The campground has cabins, tent sites, and RV sites with full hook-ups.

Billy and Anh are always on site and ready to greet you each morning with a cup of coffee in the store. They are also happy to provide directions to many nearby attractions.

Area Attractions

The store and campground are located in the mountains of western North Carolina. Nestled among national forests, the campground is just minutes away from Max Patch, a popular spot on the Appalachian trail. Catfish and Koi can be spotted in the pond, and trout swim in the stream that boarders the campground.

Downtown Hot Springs, Asheville, and Waynesville are all nearby and provide many destination hot spots. Please see the Area Attractions page for additional details.
